Tourist trends in numbers:
The number of foreigners visiting Turkey increased by 2.47% year-on-year to 6.8 million in August 2024, following a 2.6% rise in the previous month. Arrivals grew from Russia (+10% to 939 thousand), the United Kingdom (+14% to 668 thousand), Iran (+24% to 347 thousand), and Poland (+15% to 322 thousand). In January-August, tourist arrivals rose by 7.11% from a year earlier to 35.8 million.
